Wood is durable, renewable and, with the right care, it stays beautiful for a long time! At LECHUZA, we believe it is important that the wood for our PALO series comes from sustainable sources and is processed according to the rules of forest management. This is why we use only 100% FSC®-certified eucalyptus wood from sustainable forestry.

Thoughtful design
Cube or column planters, as well as room dividers, aesthetically combine high-quality design, functionality and naturalness. Plants receive just the right amount of water, according to their needs. Like all other LECHUZA planters, the original LECHUZA watering system is integrated. Removable inner containers made of 100% recycled plastic can also be found in the PALO series.
FSC® CERTIFICATION: What does it mean?
FSC® stands for “Forest Stewardship Council®” and guarantees that the wood comes from sustainably managed forests and meets ecological, social and economic standards. This is aimed at minimizing environmental impact and maintaining the long-term health of the forest ecosystem.
Eucalyptus wood: robust and versatile!
Eucalyptus wood is known for its hardness and density. This characteristic makes it particularly robust and durable. For additional weather protection, the wood surface is oiled, making it suitable for outdoor use. This perfectly emphasizes the character of the material, accentuates the grain and gives the surface a satin sheen. PALO can also enchant interiors with a more natural look. The interchangeable planters make changing plants easy and uncomplicated.
How are the wooden barrels maintained?
Wood is a natural material and can change its appearance due to weathering, bright sunlight and moisture from outside. To preserve the look and feel of the product for as long as possible, we recommend treating the wood annually with suitable wood oils, available from specialist retailers. Please refer to our maintenance instructions.
Rolling roller coasters as accessories
To make redecorating your patio easier, the PALO series also includes matching roll coasters. Thanks to the four 360° swivel casters, the planters are comfortable and easy to move. They have a maximum carrying capacity of 80 kg. Those who want to benefit from the advantages of PALO roller coasters can use the round roller coasters for almost any planter and thus save themselves the dragging of heavy loads.
