A plant needs three main things to grow and thrive: sufficient light, nutrient-rich soil, and, of course, water. We will demonstrate how easy caring for plants can be!
Following nature's example
Watering plants is sometimes not that easy: if they are not watered enough, the plant will dry out. If they are watered too much, there is a risk of stagnant water. That is why we have developed an intelligent watering system that allows the plant to absorb as much water as it needs at any given moment – just like in nature.
Simple, efficient, and unique!
Our intelligent watering system mimics the plant's natural environment: our LECHUZA-PON plant substrate promotes better root growth and supplies important nutrients. It also regulates the water supply to the roots, allowing the plant to absorb the desired amount of water without any standing water.

Even if you don't have green fingers, our watering system allows you to enjoy lots of green leaves and colorful flowers, just like in nature. All you have to do after repotting is make sure there is always enough water in the reservoir.

The water reservoir of our watering system can be easily filled from the outside. The water meter allows you to see how much water the plant still has. And when the reservoir is full, you can relax or even go on vacation—your plants will water themselves, just like in nature.
How the irrigation system works
Classic system
The plant is planted with LECHUZA-PON in the inner tray or directly in the pot. After the watering phase, the plant absorbs water from the reservoir itself.
- Planting
Pour the included LECHUZA-PON granulate onto the divider tray. Place the plant and fill the planter with LECHUZAPON or soil. - Pouring phase
Continue to water the plant from above in the usual way for the next 12 weeks. Once the plant has grown into the moist area, it will be able to absorb water from the water reservoir itself. - Casting phase and dry phase
After the watering phase, fill the water reservoir via the water filling shaft until the water meter reads “max.” each time you want to water the plant. From now on, your plant will take care of itself thanks to LECHUZA. When the water meter shows ‘min.’, the plant enters a dry phase that lasts 2-10 days*. After each dry phase, refill the water reservoir via the water filling shaft to 'max.'
Water level indicator: Keeping track of the overview
Thanks to the water meter do you always know whether you need to water your plants or notOnly when the meter reads „min.“ Once the indicator is dry, you can water the plants again. Does your plant prefer slightly drier conditions? Then wait a few days before refilling the reservoir. You can easily fill the reservoir with water or fertilizer via the water filling shaft.
Ground screw: Handy for outdoor use
For outdoors, turn just remove the bottom screwAn overflow ensures that there is sufficient water in the water reservoir. Excess water flows over the overflow and can drain away. This way, your plant protected against standing water even in rainy conditions.
Optimal care with small planters
Wick system: No repotting required!
Quick and easy: small plants can be placed in the planter thanks to the wick with the growing pot.
- Keep the culture pot and wick within reach.
- Insert the stick into the Growpot from below.
- Place the growing pot in the planter. Water and enjoy.
Feed system - perfect for smaller plants
For plants with shorter roots that do not reach into the water reservoir, containers with an open planting insert with supply are suitable. Water and nutrients stored in LECHUZA-PON reach the roots through capillary action, providing a balanced supply of nutrients.
