Wood is sustainable, renewable and, with the right care, it stays beautiful for a long time! At LECHUZA, we find it important that the wood for our PALO series comes from sustainable sources and is processed according to the rules of forest management. This is why we only use 100% FSC®-certified eucalyptus wood from sustainable forestry.

Thoughtful design
The cube or column-shaped planters, as well as the room dividers, aesthetically combine high-quality design, functionality and naturalness. Plants receive just the right amount of water, according to their needs. Like all other LECHUZA planters, the original LECHUZA watering system is integrated. Removable inner containers made of 100% recycled plastic can also be found in the PALO series.
FSC® CERTIFICATION: what does it mean?
FSC® stands for “Forest Stewardship Council®” and guarantees that the wood comes from sustainably managed forests and meets ecological, social and economic standards. This is aimed at minimising environmental impact and maintaining the long-term health of the forest ecosystem.
Eucalyptus wood: robust and versatile!
Eucalyptus wood is known for its hardness and density. This property makes it particularly robust and durable. For extra weather protection, the wood surface is oiled, making it suitable for outdoor use. This highlights the character of the material perfectly, accentuating the grain and giving the surface a satin sheen. PALO can also enchant interiors with a more natural look. The interchangeable planters make changing plants easy and uncomplicated.
How are wooden barrels maintained?
Wood is a natural material and can change its appearance due to weathering, bright sunlight and moisture from outside. To preserve the look and feel of the product for as long as possible, we recommend treating the wood annually with suitable wood oils, available from specialist retailers. Please refer to our care instructions.
Rolling roller coasters as accessories
To make redecorating your patio easier, the PALO series also includes matching roll coasters. Thanks to the four 360° rotating wheels, the planters can be moved comfortably and easily. They have a maximum load capacity of 80 kg. Those who want to benefit from the advantages of PALO roller coasters can use the round roller coasters for almost any planter and thus save themselves the dragging of heavy loads.
